My dv2700t's hard drive was reformatted on another computer so I need to install a new copy of windows vista. However, it's been encountering various kinds of BSOD, most of them talk about incompatible BIOS. I downgraded my BIOS to Phoenix BIOS F.21 a while ago in order to fix the on and off fan issue, but I didn't know that it would cause me problem today. The BIOS available on HP website are for WinFlash, but I don't have an OS to operate that on. I've tried looking on google for Phoenix BIOS and have had no results. So could any of you can help me out by sending me a Phoenix BIOS flashing files version F.25 and up or is it possible to extract the flashing files from the WinFlash program provided by HP?

You should never believe the text on the BSODs... The only really useful info they can provide is the filename of the driver that caused the BSOD.

I think you have faulty memory. Try booting memtest86+ and see if it detects any errors.
