    Could drivers for Vista work for XP, too?

    I'm planing to "upgrade" back to XP, will the drivers in swsetup work?

    Model: Compaq Presario F572US

    System: Windows Vista Home Premium

    Nope...though you might be able to find most of the drivers online. The driver model is different for the new OS. Check HP's website for help on that one!

    Some of the Vista drivers will work in XP as well. But the F572 is pretty similar to the Compaq V6000z series which has XP drivers available on HP support site. You could try those. For the graphics card get the drivers from laptopvideo2go along with the modded inf file.
