Ok i've decided on the HP zx5000. It has a good price and not bad gaming system. I was wondering though how much of a difference it'll make between a 3 ghz and 3.2 ghz processor. $75 difference is the .2 worth that much? both are HT.

Also how much would a 7200 60 or 80gb HD cost me? Cause if not too much then I could just get the 40gb 4200 and upgrade. Otherwise my options are to get 60 gb 5400 or 80 gb 5400 for $75 more than the 60gb.

Sorry if this is confusin, thanks in advance for advice everyone.

For $75... nah. You're talking a 6.67% difference in clockspeed and significantly less than that in actual performence.

Hitachi 60GB 7200RPM HDs are about $200 now. You will notice the performence diff from that.

Dont get the processor upgrade. Like brainstretch said, you can get a 60gig 7200rpm harddrive from www.zipzoomfly.com for about $180. Also, if you want to upgrade your RAM in the future look at:
    www.crucial.com
    www.oempcworld.com
    www.newegg.com

You need a standard 2.5"x9mm IDE drive, which is pretty much all of the current ones. I haven't seen a 12.5mm high drive in ages. Since what you want is Hitachi's 7200RPM drive you don't have to worry about any of this.

Swapping HDs: remove old drive, move plastic adaptor from old drive to new drive, drop in new drive, install OS/etc. Be careful not to bend any pins. It's easy, just very time consuming and tedious. I think the HP Hardware Guide documents it.
