    just ordered a hp dv5t, should be getting it soon but its stuck in CLEARANCE DELAY in Alaska!!!

    First, congratulations! Notebooks are awesome and the thought of portable computing is even more amazing.

    That notebook is extremely powerful and should handle almost everything you throw at it.

    When you first take it out of the box, it is HIGHLY recommended to let it charge completely the first time. When you get around to booting it up, connect to the internet and down PC Decrapifier. It's a program that automatically gets rid of bloatware and things that will slow down your computer.

    Other than that, have loads of fun!

    i also bought the dv5t and should get it next week, and if i download the PC decrapifier do i still need to do the clean vista install?
