I'm a current owner of a Dell 1520 w/ a T7500 cpu and 8600M GT card. I'm thinking about upgrading to the new Dv5t. First quetion, is how good is HP's warranty with accidental coverage? Any quirks of "fine print" with it? Also, for $100, would you upgrade the CPU from a T8600 to the T9400 or spend the extra from goin to a 2 year warranty to 3 year.

HP does their best at fulfilling the warranty.

When you file for ADP mishap, they have you send in the notebook and determine the next course of action.

If a problem arises and they can't fix it then they can opt to replace the notebooks.

Of course shipment to and from their repair center is at their expense.
