    Couple of HP nc8430 Questions

    1) Does the nc8430 have a 15.4 inch widescreen display? I ask this because the reviews I’ve read (and even on HP’s website) only lists it as a “15.4 inch screen”, nothing about widescreen. The pictures of the screen even seem larger/taller to me than regular widescreen displays.

    2) Since it isn’t offered with the nc8430, do I have to e-mail HP support about purchasing a recovery disc separately?

    2. The nc8430 comes with a recovery partition and a utility that allows you to create your own set of Recovery Disks.

    Yes, it has a recovery partition with HP recovery manager. You can make the recovery discs with dvd-r's then delete the partition if you need the extra space
