I was wondering if there's a way to check whether or not the screen on my laptop is the HD screen I ordered - I didn't order the HDDVD drive, because I wasn't sure which format would win out. Turns out I made a good choice :p

Secondly, a couple of keys on my keyboard are starting to stick; I'm sure I haven't spilled anything on them. Is there anything I can do to fix this problem short of shipping the laptop back to HP?

Thanks in advance for any help :)

Desktop context menu (right click) --> Personalize --> Screen Resolution (or something like that). You can find out the resolution there. They probably didn't mess that one up though lol. Not sure about the keys sticking, you could send it back if it was really that big of a deal, but HP's support is horrible, so I wouldn't recommend it. For example, I have a few dead pixels at the top of my screen, but I'm just going to let it be until I upgrade to a WUXGA (1920x1200) screen. By the way, WUXGA is probably the resolution of your HDX as well.

    It's 1920x1200 - that's HD, correct?

    Thanks for the quick response.

Yeah, that's right. 1080p == 1920x1080, which will fit onto that screen with a little black space on the top and bottom.
