This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    My nephew just bought a Pavilion Dv6tqe. It has the i7-2630QM and unfortunately the ATI 6490M and Brightview LED display.

    He wanted to try to OC the GPU.

    Does anyone have any experience with this?? I found plenty of articles of OC'ing the 6770M but nothing on the 6490M.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated!!
