Hi, I register my account here, hoping someone can help to solve this problem for me.

Yesterday I purchase my DV6 and I am quite happy with it, but there is this one problem that I just cannot resolve, no matter that I tried.

Whenever the speaker trys to work(as in before any sound if produced), therw will definitely have this crackling sound produce...

    For example
-Disable or enable touchpad will produce a sound. However, a crackling sound will be produce before the window sounds is being made
-Playing Youtube video, before the sound of that video is out, there will be this crackling sound before the sound of that Youtube video is being play.

It is hard to give the exact problem. But that is the best description I can give to explain the situation of my current DV6

I had already try to update my BIOS and audio driver, but both are unable to work.

    Thanks for your time.

By the description it "sounds" likes a physical fault and no amount of software will fix. That is something I would have HP fix. Make a return, exchange or have it fixed under warranty.

Try to turn off the power savings (last tab) in the Beats Audio Control Panel.
That killed a irritating beep I had when using headphones and the sound went into/from sleep mode.
