Does anyone have the problem of cracks in the outer screen casing of the HP dv4000? I have a dv4018AP and noticed a slight bulge some time ago. It has developed into a small crack in the outer screen casing just above the left hand hinge. I am trying to find out if it is an HP design fault and if it is common or not. I have really looked after my computer and am very disappointed with this. If you can help that would be great, thanks.

I have not yet solved the problem of the cracks. HP seems not to want to know about it and the service is real slack.
