    Greetings all,

I was wondering if anyone has ever tried to or knows how to create an nlited xp pro install cd prepacked with quickplay direct to auto install during xp installation as well as all the other required drivers from the swsetup folder?
I also want it to automatically partition the hdd for xp while leaving the 1gig free for quickplay direct.

    Thanks in advance,
    Shintorojin

Go search slipstream and you will find a topic on how to do it.

I think you might have better success by taking an image of a setup hard drive (with all your drivers and everything installed), and burning that to a DVD, and restoring that. This way you can avoid the hassle of activation and the time it takes to do a full install. I suggest Acronis TrueImage.

    Acronis rocks!

I made a basic image that had all my programs installed and activated, and keep a running record in a separate text file of all the things I install on my computer and major settings that I change. Every few months, I re-image my computer back to that clean slate I integrate all those changed and re-build the base image to include all my prior changes. Save new base image, and I've got a clean copy again but with every change I've done. Love it!

Thanks guys, but i know how to create slipstreamed disc and how to create a nlited unattended setup. I was specifically refering to the automation of disk partitioning and setup for the quickplay setup more than anything else.

But thanks for the advice anyway.
