Anyone have an idea the cost for 512MB and 1GB modules are for the zd8000? Crucial and Kingston do not have this model listed yet. I'm assuming it is NOT PC2700 memory.

http://www.notebookreview.com/forums/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=9981 I just posted a reply in this topic. Do not use PC2700 your system will support DDR2 PC4200 Sodims, I also think that the 915P chipset will support even faster memory. At the moment the fastest I've seen has been PC4200. I picked up two 1gig sticks at newegg for $221.00 a peace. Works like a charm.

Here is the URL for 512MB DDR2 4200. if you buy two sticks of this (1 Gig total ) for the ZD8000 you will also be running in dual channel mode.
    Works perfectly.
