    Estimated ship date is the 30th. Are these estimates usually spot on or can I expect it to be shipped a day or 2 sooner? :)

    Usually people receive their laptop before the ship date! (note the word "usually")

    In the past I've had it take over a month for a laptop to be built because of part shortages. Lately though they have been pretty good and I would probably expect to be receiving your laptop around the time of the build date.

    This is my concern also. I plan to order a Dv7 Quad tomarrow but I have a flight reservation for Oct. 26th. I'd like to take my laptop with me. Hope I get it before I have to leave on Oct. 26th.

    I ordered a dv7 quad yesterday and have a ship date of Oct 3, you should have it long before Oct 26 even if its shipped late. This is like my 4th or 5th machine over the past 10 years from them and, like the others, I have always received them by the "ship date"
