    Customizeable HP notebooks in Canada?

    Hpshopping.ca only seems to have prebuilt notebooks...where can I order customizeable HP notebooks (specifically the DV2000) in Canada?

    Unfortunately, HP does not offer customizable notebooks in Canada or any where else in the world(I think) other than the U.S.

    Wow that sucks. Looks like I'm going with the 640m, that black finish looked so nice too :(

    Are there any online shops based in the US that offers customisable HP notebooks and ships internationally? Here in Australia, the best specs are still the crappiest you can get in the US (perhaps, anywhere) and yet, they don't come cheap.

    I was told by HP canada that you CAN order customized HP notebooks at authorized resellers (ie. Staples, best buy, future shop) via their CTO program. i think the prices just don't justify it - get a dell.
