I have a HP Pavilion dv7 6165 with windows 7 64bit. I for some reason can not get the Cyberlink Power dvd software to instal. I am using Windows Media so I am able to watch dvd's. Yet like Hugh Laurie's character House, I find it a puzzle I have to solve.
I have contacted HP's tech support and have gone through the downloaded from the website multiple times the software. It goes through all of the instal motions, yet when it finishes there is no indication it ever loaded. It leaves behind a file with C+++ from 2005 to 2008 each time. Any ideas?
