OK I have had this 18-1374ca for over a year. It came with two Seagate momentus 500GB 7200rpm drives.
Its run with Windows 7 64bit since day 2....day 1 had Vista on it!
I have not touched the BIOS ever. Its had F24 since I got it, circa 2009.

Yesterday as I sat at the desktop I noticed everything on the D drive, programs, etc, their icons started to change ro generic ones, and programs like Utorrent stopped and began to give me 'Missing File' messages for TV shows that are on the D drive.
I couldn't see the hard drive in Device Manager, Disk Management and when I did the Hard Drive Test at boot it ran the one for the C drive 100% ok, but the next thing it indicated was the next drive was inaccessible or something.

Reboots didn't fix it. Reboot to 'Last Known Good Configuration' didn't do anything.

After much frustration I downloaded and flashed the BIOS to the latest F34 and upon reboot everything came back!

What happened? It was good for over a year. I made no changes yesterday before hand, and hadn't even installed anything for ages, and had not messed with any drivers. Windows update hadn't done anything.

    Its weird!
