    Hi. I have an HP Pavillion ZX5040. I have had it for 9 months. But now my DC connector is not responding when I plug in the adapter. Hence. The battery is draining and the computer does not recognize that the ac adapter is plugged in( I just bought a new adapter-I thought at first the adapter was the problem). Is there any easy way to solve this problem?

    I had to send my zx5000 cto back to HP for repairs because the connection on the laptop itself was what was actually bad.
