When I started up my computer today right after the windows loading screen with the bar the screen goes blank before getting to the windows desktop. I went into bios and ran diagnostics, when I ran my primary hard drive it gave an error and said replace hard drive. I already tried to a windows repair. Is there anyway I can fix this so I don't loose my files on my drive? And is it most likely a hard drive problem

Hard drive problem, because BIOS/diagnostics diagnosed it.
back up your files, just in case, but if the problem does not escalate (ie the computer doesn't start freezing every so often), you can probably live with it..

after you back up your files, you can open 'chkdsk /r' from the windows 'start search' to scan your hard drive for bad sectors.
