Hi guys! I have ordered this beast for $116 delivered and really waiting for it to be delivered ASAP. What do you think? I am surprised how cheap DELL is selling this Seagate Momentus 7200 drive. Normal retail is $160-$190. Does anyone have it already installed? I will post the replacement topic on my page if someone interested, pity - will need to put new system again!

Nice! That's a great price for 160GB 7200. I just ordered a Hitachi 160GB 5400RPM for around $90 at Newegg. Personally I perfer Hitachi when making hard drives, benchmarks and reliability are there to back this up as well.

How are your full boot up times? Till everything stops loading. Mine is horrendous with the Fujitsu drive.

Correct. Forgot to mention this is with the power scheme at High Performance. I haven't timed other schemes but i know it's significantly slower with Power Saver mode.

I also have gotten one of the Seagate 160 gig 7200 rpm drives today. WOW what a huge difference. Boots WAY faster, loads way faster, and everything is way faster. WAY cooler, now my laptop doesn't doesn't feel hot anymore. This was from a Fujitsu 5400rpm 100 gig.v

Got my new Seagate 160 7200rpm today, along with my new DV9500 with T7500 + 1680-1050. This HDD works a lot better than my WD 5400rpm and it is really a lot cooler. Thank you all, who posted here!

They raised the price to $129.00 plus tax. Still not a real bad deal. I ordered one because i like the Seagate Momentus drives. I have a 100 gig in drive bay #2 on my dv9000z. The 120 gig Fugitsu drive in bay #1 is slow and hot.
