I just got my DM1z. But now my Wi-fi is moving along at very slow speeds. I removed and replaced the card, and reseated the antenna wires, but it still crawls along at no more than 100KB/sec. Any ideas? Should I just return it? I hate to do that, took two weeks just to get here. Although I may just order the one from Amazon.com, it's the same price now.

Got it fixed. I had to set my router to fixed 802.11g or 802.11n instead of variable. Speeds still only like 2MB/sec but better than the 200KB/sec that I had before.

Did someone open up their laptop the first day he got it?

    Why of course. :)

It's simple with this one though. Just remove the battery and slide of the bottom cover and you have your RAM, hard drive, wi-fi card, even the CPU is right there along with the heatsink/fan assembly. No fasteners at all.
