Basically I'm looking for something that is cheap + light + small + good battery life. I only need this laptop to perform a few functions.
1. Fully browse the web this includes flash and other plugins
2. Run microsoft office 2010 fully operational
3. Fully utilize a 50mbps/5mbps internet connection wirelessly (does not have to be able to do it at long range from the router only 3-5 feet from it and I have a quality cisco router)
4. Run a completely 2d mmorpg called tibia (theres no 3d or any special effects just a 2d overhead view like the older zelda games)
5. Handle long utorrent sessions while on AC power
6. Play 1080p x264 .mkv files through the hdmi port to a large screen plasma.
After all the research I've done looking at various laptops I think the dm1z best fits these requirements. It's very cheap, its very small and light and has great battery. Can it properly do the 6 things I need it to do? that's the only thing I am unsure of.

1. Yes, flash gets HW accelerated - its a little buggy at the moment but from personal experience works more ofteen than not. Silverlight (for netflix - SD works fine but HD streaming is poor)
2. I havent found any issues here.
3. The cpu will get a workout plus the wifi card/antennas included by HP isn't the best.
4. Havent tried it.
5. Should do fine.
6. Thats what my dm1z does most of the time. I use splash lite and that accelerates most of the stuff I have. hulu 720p plays fine as well as youtube videos(this is where things get a little buggy) Checkout the main dm1z thread. Tons of information about this.
Even though the E-350 cpu is much better than corresponding atom cpu's its still outclassed by any of the current mainstream cpu's. So
DM1z's ability to do various tasks???
