    My touchpad is completely fried and I need to buy a new one. I'm also noticing that you have to buy the whole palmrest with the touchpad. So, I'm wondering if I can use any DM4 touchpad with my laptop. The 2000 version touchpads are far easier to find. I'm also wondering if it comes with the ribbon connector as it looks like my ribbon has been broken in half.
