I've HP Pavilion dv6500 with vista premium. Now, I've tmo run a software that runs on Xp, (it doesn't install on vista because of some driver issue related to the hardware). Is it possible to dual boot Xp nad Vista, so that I can use Vista and sw itch to Xp only for that software. and where can i get information about it.

Search for Vistabootpro in google and you will find some pages describing the process of isntalling Vista and XP and Dualbooting them. Hope this helps ;)
