    Hi everyone.
I'm new to this and have posted some in the Toshiba Forum.
In the past several days I've had 3 new Toshiba M45's.
One had a hardware failure, one had 2 scratches in the middle of the screen, and the third had one scratch that started at the bottom of the screen and went past 3/4 the way to the top.
All units were factory sealed and shipped to Office Depot in different months. So I guess there's a good chance of them being from different batches, but I'm not sure.
Maybe I'm being picky, but if I'm paying top dollar for a factory fresh unit, should I see long scratches on the screen?
Before I bought this model, I was considering a DV 4030 or 4040, but went with Toshiba because of good products and service from them in the past.
Did anyone here find scratches on their HP screen when the first received it?
And have there been any noted problems with this series?
