I am planning on getting a DV 4T and I can get just about the same price through costco, as through HP. The thing about Coscto I like is they extend the HP Warranty to two years as no extra cost, and they have a 90 day no questions return policy, compared to 21 day through HP. Any opinions or experiences going through Costco?

IF it's the same price, go with costco. I would have, but costco doesn't take coupon codes nor do they offer rebates :(.

Bought a Compaq V3000 at Costco a few years back. For various reasons I didn't like it and returned. After five months they didn't even question it. I wish there was a Costco closer to me so I could shop there.

HP is very easy to return in my experience as well if you're within the return period.

actually lots of items at costco have manufacturer instant rebates on them, reflected at the register. Additionally they also put out a monthly booklet with coupons in them - this month I noticed the 500gb wdc passport elite for $30 off with the coupon. Not a code for online, but they do indeed offer instant (better than mail-in) rebates and have coupons of the more traditional kind.

Yes, but they didn't support my 30% off coupon from HP...those coupons are only direct

Like I said, they put out their own coupons. Also, Sams Club does not entertain mail-in rebates any longer that I'm aware of, and they don't do the instant at the register stuff like Costco does. Also, Sams doesn't take manufacturer coupons of any sort.
