    DV 5000 $300 price increase today

    I configured the 5000t today and the price is up at least 300.00 . In the past month the 5000t has come down about $200.00. What is going on with HP. I guess the gas prices have gotten to the big wigs.

    the dv8000 price is up a hundred dollars too... good thing i got mine a couple weeks ago!

    Maybe Intel got wind of just how many new Turion X2 notebooks HP is planning and cut HP's marketing "rebates". (Heh, wishful thinking, about the X2's that is.)
