    DV 9000 series powersupply problems?

    I just bought a dv9033cl a couple of weeks ago. The fourth time I went to boot it up it was dead, just a big paper weight. The light for the AC adapter comes on but zero power to the unit, must be the powersupply. I am debating about replacing it but now I am hesitent to do so, is this a common problem because this baby is sort of loaded, even though when I was using it I had no gizmos attached or nothing. Any feedback would be great.
