    Wow just today i took it to class and people were like "ohhh so shiny" lol and "i can see myself" I also got some props from the techheads after they saw it run a few games, and its overall speed... this thing is amazing.. oh and i finally got my extra bat. and mobile edge backpack.

    There's some complaints on the new dv series, yes, but, you'll find that for any manufacturer.

    As far as I'm concerned, HP's build quality has rising greatly, and they make quite impressive notebooks now.

    I've had many compliments on mine.
    The first thing people notice about my dv9000t is the size, then they start to see the imprint finish and what not. Then I get to show off what it can do compared to most student laptops.

    Yeah, the guy I work with bought my old Dell laptop when my HP came... now he wants a dv6000T as well.

    When the screen and outer shell is clean, yes, I get compliments. :)

    Which reminds me, I need to clean my screen...
