DV1000 Remote Dont Work!!!! Help!!!

hi some client gave me his laptop for a hard disk issue, and i found that the hard disk it's useless, and i put a new HD, but i don not have the Recovery CD's, i do a clean install of XP!. Everything works fine but the remote control (RC6) doesn't work, i check the battery and it's givin me the right voltage...

and in Hardware Administrators doesn't appear IRD dispositive, i dont know what to do...

please help me

You know if you spent five minutes, of YOUR TIME doing some research on this problem your client would most-likely already have his laptop back. This problem has came up dozens of times on this forum including the answer to it.

 

it's not my first time using a forum, i spend like 2 hours and nothing seems like my problem...

i read a lot but everybody has the original disc, and that's why my problem it's different....

have you ever heard of HP.com or quickplay. you should try researching that last one............. and your getting paid for this. HA!

 

Try this. Took me....bout 2 minutes. Dont know if this will fix your model but I have read users with dv6500t that have same problem as you and downloading this driver fixes it. Let me know if it works or not. Link below.

i already tried and nothing still doesnt work...

its there any instructions about the intallation????
or what is the reason that my control doesnt work
