Do any of you DV1000 users have a notebook sleeve? Which ones actually fit the DV1000?

Ie the Booq Vyper M or L?

I am getting another sleeve from Waterfield Designs www.sfbags.com to fit my V2000.

I have had mine for my Dell and Motion tablet for quite a while, and they work well. They have many options also.

Where did you buy the Booq Vyper M? It is out of stock until April 2005 in the website...

I ordered it from the booq website on 23 Jan and got it on 28 jan.Must have got sold out due to heavy demand [ :D]
It really fits like glove and is reasonably stiff to prevent knocks.I have made a good choice after looking at shinza and waterfield sleeves.

Do you find it give fairly good impact protection or should I look to the Shinza or the Tom Bihn Brain Cell & Monolith ? Is it supposed to be water resistant?

    Hi titan,
The sleeve is reasonably stiff to resist direct knocks and fall from the hand .Plus it looks damn sexier then other sleeves[ :p].
It appears splash and spill resistant but I would not try immersing it in a swimming pool[ :D]

    LOL!

I was about to order the Compaq V2000 2 weeks ago but to my dismay, the price had gone up and the DV1000 was priced competetively. What a run-on sentence : so much for being PHI BETA KAPPA!

The Vyper M rocks! I was about to order the Vyper L but it appears that the size will make the notebook move around. I am probably going to get the Vyper M and the Powersleeve 14...Unless you all feel the Powersleeve 15 will be better.
