I just went to Toshiba to check out their M50 series, which has the same size as the DV1000. I decided to configure one for kicks and noticed that you can configure it not only with Intel's GMA 900 graphics but an ATI Radeon X600 64 or 128 meg video card!! Thats not fair!! Why can't stupid HP give us the option of putting that video card in the DV1000!?

I've seen most people give this machine a 9/10 because of it not having a dedicated graphics solution. Its Toshiba competitor has one, why can't it!? If it did, it would be my perfect notebook.

I agree, the dv1000 would be fantastic with dedicated video. The same story applies for so many machines...hopefully we'll see more of this in the future.
