    The dv1000 i priced out came to 1063 shipped, the asus is pretty much exactly $200 more.

    Dv1000 is 14.1, asus is 15.4..but the asus really isnt all that much bigger, just 1" wider and about 1.5" longer (front to back).

    HP comes with bluetooth, asus does not
    HP comes with remote, asus does not
    HP has quickplay

    Asus is carbon fiber
    Asus has much nicer graphics card
    Asus has 1680x1050 resolution and 15.4" screen

    I am really really confused here :? I like both models, i think the HP is all around a nicer package and is more appealing, but the Asus offers a few nicer display options. I am really up in arms here.
