I'm considering passing by the Lenovo sale and waiting for one of these. However, one of my main concerns is whether I'll be able to get the integrated cam with a Pentium-M processor (as opposed to the new cores) ---- I value battery life over processing power.
The current DV1000t only offers cores with the cam, and the DV1000 which offers P-M does not come with a cam.
So .... I'm worried that I'm missing out on a good z60t deal for nothing.
Thoughts?

The dv2000z (Turion model) should have better battery life than the Core Duo based dv2000t. Might be less expensive too. Can you hold out for that? (Early June, probably.)

In regards to battery life, I've been getting better battery life with the Core Duo machines I've used (several) and will emphasize it's absolutely more based on screen brightness, wi-fi management, usb attachments, port power usage (turning off the ethernet port when not connected to a LAN, as very few of us are with a notebook, will amazingly save you a few minutes of power). Processor is a factor of course, but the difference between Core Duo and Pentium M is really quite close.
I really like the look of these new HP notebooks, though I'd still go with a Lenovo machine because I'm totally sold on the keyboards for ThinkPads and that transcends just about anything for my tastes. But the day you'll see a camera in a ThinkPad anytime soon? It'll be a cold day down below.
