I can't seem to really tell or loooked really hard enough i guess I feel hot air coming from the back of the notebook does this mean that it sucks air from the bottom and shoots the hot air thru the back? If so that means I can use the Spire Pacific Breeze Cooler right?

Yeah, the fan intake is underneath the laptop. I doubt whether the cooler is going to change much in terms of the cpu temp since the fan intake vents are very small and the efectivesness of the cololer might not be too great. he cooler might help cool down other components like the HDD and probably the RAM.

The only advantage it might provide is to remove the latent heat build up which wil decrease the temps a bit.

I think HP's cooling is the same through out it's current products with one fan. My notebook's temperatures decreased drastically with the cooler. I heard the fan of the notebook only last weekend when the outside temps were record high - 42*C. Other than that, for 3 months during the summer the fan has never kicked off during normal use; this means 48-50*C avr, while it used to be 55-57*C.
The biggest improvement came from the HDD, however. Now it rarely goes above 41*C, while before it used to be over 49*even 55*C when typing continually ( I guess my arm helped a lot in keeping the heat). At 56* the laptop turns off so I doubt I would have endured the summer easily without the cooler..

One last note. If you look for a cooler, I suggest you look at those that blow air to the laptop and not those that suck air from it. The latter would be more helpful if you had a constantly spinning fan like the old ZV6000 for example.

atm i got the antec cooler pad which sucks air from the bottom but since my notebook takes air from bottom and shoots out back it kind of defeats the purpose so im going to get the spire one that shoots air to the bottom
