    DV2000s and DV6000 Screen Compat?

    Is DV2000 and DV6000 screen compatible? The whole screen not just LCD. I need Screen for V6000 and saw one for DV2000 that is cheaper. I know the DV9000 is much larger.

    any of the DV6000 DV9000 series parts fit/work for dv2000?

    Best bet is to D/L the service manual for each and see if the part numbers are the same.

    HP has the PDF versions on their site. Go to support and documentation.

    The 2000 is 14.1", the 6000 is 15.4". The connectors may be the same, but there's no way the LCD is going to fit in the chassis.

    Apply some clever use of duct tape and the 14" screen will "fit" into 15" frame :)
