    DV2000t Seems Noticeably Slower On Battery

    I'm puzzled by the fact that my notebook runs noticeably faster on AC power even though the power settings remain the same. The only thing that I've set to change is the graphics card setting (from max performance to max battery life).

    That happens to me when the laptop barely has enough rams....Generally, if you are battery it is a little slower only but anyless than 50% and if it performs sluggishly, then you need to clean up the excessive programs. I've had 1gb and ran about 40 processes and that was okay but when you have antivirus and other things going on, you will need more ram especialy on battery.

    the laptop underclocks the processor automatically when on batter power usually i recommend downloading and running this progrm so as to get your desired performance its quite handy too http://www.pbus-167.com/

    don't think it's a RAM thing ;) i'm quite sure it's caused by automatic underclocking, it's normal and you don't have to worry.
