I just wanted to verify that the soundcard on my DV2000t is NOT a multi-channel soundcard... I'm not entirely sure.

I was hoping I could use the SPDIF audio out as a separate channel from the regular headphone jack... but I couldn't find a way.

Basically, I'm trying to DJ on my laptop and wanted one channel to external speakers and another to my headphones so I could pre-listen to tracks before mixing. but it looks like I'll have to get an external multichannel soundcard that goes into my expresscard slot or something. I'm new to this, so a bit confused I am. any help/advice is much appreciated. thanks..
