    Hey everyone,

I was interested in getting the DV2000t and if I remember correctly, the t model was supposed to have a Geforce Go 7400 option available. Of course HP sales is clueless and they don't know what I'm talking about. Has anyone heard anything else about this option being available? Was it completely scrapped?

    All info is truly appreciated!

    Thanks in advance!

Its not the Go 7400 but rather the Go 7200.

As for why it is not yet released, no idea. They initially said it would be available in early June, but we havent seen anything until now.

*speculation* They might just release it along with the Core 2 Duo refresh.

It would be much expensive even use 7200. Maybe they will put into 17" version for gammers. 14" is mostly for business/media usage(student).

Why exactly would HP put a Go 7200 into the dv8000t when it already has a Go 7600?

The Go 7200 was specifically designed for thin-and-light notebooks. I remember reading an article on this site that the dv2000t would offer this graphics card.

I guess it won't come until the Core Duo 2 refresh... But once again, it's all guessing. Ever since HP discontinued the x700 in dv4000/v4000, I haven't had much faith in my favorite brand featuring anymore powerful graphics options in a 15.4" or 14"
