    What is the typical battery life for the DV2000z (with Turion X2)? I've heard conflicting reports of 2 hours all the way to a recent review on this site of 4 hours!

    I'm sure many of you have the DV2000z - what battery life do you guys get? It it worse than the battery life of the DV2000t with Intel C2D?

    it will definitely be worse than the C2D cuz intel has better power management and it also depends on the type of battery used. 4 hours sounds like a high capacity battery

    I get around 3 hours with WLAN off and just doing general work such as word and excel documents. Brightness of near-lowest.

    TL50, 1GB Ram, 120GB HD, 6150GO, standard battery, if that helps you at all.

    Seems to me you get a higher battery life on the DV2000z. I get about 2 hours 35 minutes on my Dv2122TU Core2duo, 1.5gigs Ram, 120gigs HDD, minimum screen brightness.

    USB mouse connected
    Surfing through ADSL on a LAN cable

    If DV2000T has Go7200, then the battery life should be similar to DV2000Z, or Z could be better.

    Minimum brightness is almost useless under the day light.

    12 Cells battery will generally reports >4 hr.

    I usually average around 2hr:15min with Vista and get a wee bit more when I ran XP. This with the wifi on and the screen brightness set to low.
