My dv2500 has very cheap-looking (and feeling) keyboard. Is there any way to replace it with better one? OR maybe sony vaio or other brand has a particular model with keboard matching the one of dv2500?

All dv2xxx and dv6xxx uses the same keyboard, so it would be pointless unless there is actually something wrong with yours.
And I am 99.9999999% sure that you cannot put a different brand keyboard in. -
maybe you have a defective one. go to best buy and feel another dv2500's and compare. i love mine, once i started using it alot and got used to it all other laptop keyboards felt weird. at first i really didn't like it but once i got used to it, it was fine.

Learn to adapt my friend. I feel the same way with my DV2402CA notebook. I find the keyboard does not feel as good as the Sony, but in time I've gotten use to the feeling, and if you've been using the keyboard for a while I'm certain you will get use to it as well.

If the 2500 is the verve edition with the gold design, it does seem to have a cheap looking and feeling keyboard that is different from the other dv2000 series notebooks.
You may want to buy a replacement keyboard off e-bay and replace the one you have with it.
There are video instructions on the HP web-site showing how to do this.
