    DV2500T vs DV6500T

    Any reason to get the 6500 over the 2500 (other than slight price differential) ? Same screen res, video options, etc.

    I'll be buying one for my wife, she doesn't mind losing an inch of screen diagonal and the 2500 is lighter and smaller.

    Also is it worth getting the Nv 8400 dedicated video on these over the Intel 3100 integrated ? Mainly interested in general Vista performance, I know neither option is suitable for the latest games.

    The X3100 is fine for Vista. For gaming, get the 8400.

    I'd suggest the 6500. It isn't much heavier and is easier to read.

    I'd also go with the DV6500T because I've got all the drivers for it on my page Here

    You can put XP on the DV2500T, but the drivers are slightly different.
