Hey guys, does anyone have a picture of the dv2500t with a 12cell battery?

This reviewer used a 12-cell.
Rather than traditional 12 cells stick out the back, this one raises the back and sticks out EVER so slightly. -
Thanks!
Wow that raises the laptop quite a bit. -
Think about it though, since the bottom of the laptop is higher it will allow the fans disperse the heat more efficiently and keep your laptop cooler.

It is also awkward on lap b/c the battery is not in the middle. It is double the thickness of a 6 cell. You would also have to take the battery out when you but the lappy in most bags/sleeves etc b/c it won't fit.

Mostly use it at school and hate to have it any bigger.
My longest class is about 3 hours, and a 6 cell on low brightness should pull that.
Everywhere else, I plug the thing, I think our library has more power sockets than books. They're EVERYWHERE. -

I use the 12 cell. It being off center makes it a little awkward in the lap, but I hate using laptops on laps anyhow. The pie shape takes up a bit more space when carrying it around, but not enough to complain about.
Otherwise, it does offer excellent airflow - combined with integrated graphics, my notebook is cool and the fans run below most ambient noise levels.
Double battery life is nice too. I can burn a dvd and turn up the screen brightness and listen to loud music without scrambling to find an outlet. -
I think there is an enhanced 6 cell battery available that is better than the standard 6 cell version.

WHich is a good thing that it raises it. Raising the keyboard gives you a more natural feeling when you typing and it is also good in making sure the laptop doesn't overheat
