Hi..I had dual booted my dv2750 earlier without problem then due to some reason had to format the whole HDD, vista recovery done, then this time i removed the recovery partition and made 2 other partitions with the remaining free space (1 for xp, other for common data). Now i installed xp. N it booted into xp. No problem till now. So its c: vista, d: xp, e: data. Then i tried to fix the vista boot loader with vista boot pro but then error. It does not detect my xp installation and some kinda error pops up. i thought maybe drive letter d: is the problem so i gave c:, e: and f: for above mentioned partitions but same problem. Tried with BCDedit software also. Same problem..

The only change is that before when it went ok there was c:vista, d: hp recovery, and e: xp.

Am i missing something. Can anyone tell me the procedure to hav c: vista, d: xp, and e: for data.

    Thnx in advance,

    Regards
    Hari

Hey dude..the error is some .net error..i dont have my lappy with me now..i'l let u kno tomoro..n I haven't renamed the drives..Local Disk..
I click restore windows vista boot loader in Vista boot pro, it says successful..and then wen i 'run diagnostics' or try to view the bootloader entries with the software, error pops up..After restart i see vista n xp boot options;vista is ok and then wen i try xp "/ntldr missing or corrupt"

The thing is i had dual booted earlier and dat too in first try..same .net installer and same vista boot pro...same xp pro install disk...i cant seem to figure out wher i'm wrong...

    Thnx man
