The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    DV4000 + port replicator with VGA?

    Forgive me if the answer is already here somewhere, but I'm wondering if someone can tell me if there is a solution available for the DV4000 series for a port replicator/expansion base that includes a VGA port for supporting an external monitor.
    The XB2000 available for the DV4000 thru HP doesn't appear to have a VGA port.
    I'd like to be able to do dual-display without having to connect the external monitor each time.
