    DV4000 fan repair

    i have DV4000 i got it 2 weeks ago
    i use it on my bed
    it started yesterday
    when the fan, i think it's the cpu fan
    it has some sound like Drrrrrrrrr
    right after it starts and right before it stops
    sometimes during the working
    i think the hair or somekind of dirt stuck
    what should i do?
    i try to open it but i can't T.T
    i think i can repair it free
    i mean i want to just clean it
    but i don't know where is the HP repair center
    i'm in texas dallas
    :(

    Try blowing air into the fan from the bottom of the notebook, and don't use it on your bed or anywhere else that cloth/flesh/whatever will block the air intake.

    If you must surf for ... artistic pictures ... while in bed, buy or make a lap desk so there is a flat, uniform surface for the computer to rest on so that airflow will not be impeded.
