How do you guys like or unlike the HP webcam that comes built into the DV5?

I tried it with Skype and I think it SUCKS.
Frame rate is awful, color balance is nonexistant, resolution is nowhere near what you would expect from 1.3M pixel.

Anyone find any drivers that actually make this thing work?

    Meanwhile, I bought a logitech pro9000.
Wow! What a difference, night and day.
Now my Skype video actually looks good.

    Comments?
About the HP webcam and/or the pro9000?

Its a VGA camera(0.3 megapixels)...but doesnt the frame rate depend upon the internet speed?

I think it sucks too. It's not comparable to my logitech Quickcam Deluxe for notebooks.

Download ManyCam and tweak the settings. I was able to increase the exposure and sharpness to create one hell of a high resolution looking quality video feed. I believe that it is 1.3 Mega pixels.
