Can someone tell me which one I should get? Does the NC1000 fit perfectly with the DV5T or is it too small? Is there a really large performance or noise difference between the 1000 and 2000?
I need feedback from someone who has the NC1000 and DV5T, some people say they fit together well and some people say its too small (based on reviews).

It shouldnt be too hard to google the dimensions for the dv5t, then compare them to the dimensions given to us by X2P in the following thread:

a better idea of just the general dimensions tho, you might want to turn over your laptop and measure a square/rectangle like area that includes all your vents.

Just read it X2P. Great comparison. Looks like the NC2000 is the way to go. Thanks again.

if you're worried about dimensions, I got the dv5t and zalman nc1000, and um....on each side maybe about half an inch hangs off? Not very much, and it fits well front to back, maybe within the cooler dimensions by another half inch each. Not exact, just eyeballing it.
