    Hi,

My DV5T LCD screen started to have colors distirtion, I think it is the cable because when I tilt the screen (closing it half-way) the problem is gone.
Also I opened the notebook and played with the LCD cable and saw that in some positions the problem is gone.
I opened the LCD to see if the connection is loose but it seemed just fine, so I assume I need a new cable.

Here is a shot of the problem.

The LCD is WSXGA+ and the cable serial is: GLEDDC5003ALD391

When I search for this serial id in EBAY I get only 1 item which is ~25$
When I search for "DV5 LCD Cable" I get several items from ~8$

So is there any difference? which one do I need?
    Thx!
