    It tells me the battery is charging, but it isn't. Do you think it's a battery problem, power supply problem?

    I've never ever heard of something like that. :confused: :rolleyes:
    It could be a bad battery, call HP tech support and see what they say. :)

    There's a little light next to the AC power jack, if that is on when the jack is connected then it's probably a battery problem.

    The other thing to check is if the voltage transformer is warm when you charge...
