I've gotten my dv5t since august of 08. Early this year, i did a clean install and after that, I have been getting the same bsod when i play GTA IV and some other games. The codes that I were

    0x000001, 0x000000000000001, 0x0000000000000000, 0xFFFFFA600005E5180, and 0x0000000000000001

I'm thinking its heat related but this never happened before I did a clean install.

    Specs:
    T9400
    9600M GT
    3GB ram

I also undervolted it and have an antec cooler. thanks.

Edit: Without undervolting, i reached 91 degrees Celsius for cpu and 86 for gpu. That seems pretty high for me..

Now I recieved this after playing LFS.

lol, well if it's undervolted, that could easily be the problem. give it a bit more power and see if that fixes it.

Is the error while playing LFS when undervolted or not undervolted? Also, are you only receiving these BSOD's while gaming?

I get bsods when playing games and it was undervolted. It seems fine when it is not undervolted, but i havent tested it long cause the temps get pretty high.

Its probably just a problem with the multipliers voltages. I would just increase them a little bit and then stress with orthos to make sure they are stable. Then you can still be undervolted while you game.

Also, you could make two profiles, one for less demanding CPU tasks and another for more intensive CPU tasks such as gaming (especially with GTA IV :D ) and just switch between the two.
